Hestra

When the days get colder you will need all the help you can get to keep warm. It can be a challenge to do this in a fashionable manner. The lined gloves of the Swedish brand Hestra are the perfect accessory for a warm and stylish winter.

Scandinavian Gloves

A pair of quality leather gloves are essential to a man’s wardrobe. You can buy these in all sorts of styles, qualities and colours. But with a basic – like leather gloves – make sure to invest a bit more, because quality is definitely showing.

Our absolute favourites are the gloves of the Swedish family business Hestra. In the village Hestra in the Swedish province of Småland this family has been producing leather and ski gloves since 1936. No wonder the gloves are all about craftsmanship. Made with the finest leather and wool. This in combination with their eye for detail, their knowledge of glove-making and their passion for the business, makes the Hestra gloves one of the best brand of gloves around. When unlined they are perfect for spring and autumn, but when lined, they are incredibly warm and comfy and absolutely perfect for cold winter days.

Offers

The Hestra gloves are available in many different models and colours. Our advice would be to always start with one basic pair that you can wear both casual and more formal as well. Like the chestnut gloves made of deerskin and lined with lamb fur. These are one of their warmest gloves available, without losing their style. Another great option are the Terry gloves made of deerskin and lined with soft and warm knitted wool.

A more robust, yet very fashionable pair is the Primaloft model. Also lined with wool, they are super comfortable and warm. Great for a more casual look. If you really want to stand out from the crowd, we recommend the Matthew glove in yellow. They are very elegant, yet a bit more striking than any other pair. The yellow colour is beautiful and goes with almost anything. They have an Italian wool lining to keep your hand warm and they give a good insulation down to minus five degrees Celsius. Cool and warm at the same time. All the gloves are hand sewn, which takes about two hours for each pair.
